I just uploaded a new picture for the Stormbenders fanfic (which I was pretty pleased with) along with a new picture of myself, after getting the shortest haircut ever in my life! Not that I hate it - I honestly think it's pretty cute, but it scared the heck out of my mom...she kept saying over and over how short it was Anyway, I am now pretty much up to Navy regulations, but the recruiter seems to think that they may still snip off some of the length around my face, since that part is a little longer than in back :*( Sad, but it will grow!

Speaking of the Navy, I have now passed my basic physical test, which I will take one more time before shipping off to boot camp in August. Wish me luck, especially that I do not get hurt before then, whether hiking or biking or jiu jitsu or just going down the stairs!! Seriously, I almost fell all the way down the stairs a couple of Sundays ago when my heel caught in the carpet as I was leaving for church. Scared my hubby too Speaking of him, he's trying for the SEALS, so he's really the one in need of luck!! My brave, brave, handsome Jarad
