Here I sit, moving through the days at my Navy A-school at an alarming speed...found out my language, and I am immensely pleased Also, I'm excited to once again be keeping up with Bleach and Vampire Knight episodes off and on, which have become increasingly interesting since the point of "re-entry" to them after boot camp (which was, btw, a strenuous but sometimes awesome experience).

I get to see Jarad at Thanksgiving, which will be the first time seeing him in person since the beginning of October, so I'm PSYCHED!!! Perhaps I will dedicate a new piece of art to him to commemorate the event

And finally, I am reading a pretty awesome book right now called "The Time Traveler's Wife" which is actually pretty intense. My initial impression was that it would be more of a sentimental romance, but it is actually pretty modern and...ummm...occasionally shocking. Do not attempt to read this if you cannot get a timeline set in your head, or things will get really confusing really quick! Also, an decent knowledge of literature and German are great assets for gathering nuggets from all the literary allusions and quotes scattered throughout the story. I know a good amount of literature (not nearly as much as I should), but NO German - thankfully my room mate here knows German That's not to say that you cannot understand the book at all without German, but it's kinda fun to know what some of the little phrases mean.
